npower Roadshow

According to the papers, getting the children of today to do anything outside in the fresh air is near impossible. Step aside then as npower and Sledge invited thousands of little Beckham wannabes to understand how much fun you can have without power.

npower asked us to create a road show that would get children involved with their “no power hour” campaign and we of course played on our experience working in city centres and our love of sport to create a football themed stand that we could take round the country.

We created a Crouch inspired warm up routine, an area where the World Football Freestyle Champion taught us some tricks, an assault course and what football stand would be complete without a penalty shoot-out area, not one we would design.

Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and Nottingham were the chosen cities and with the help of Piers Morgan and Football Freestyle World Champion John Farnworth, we had over 5,000 children pledge to spend an hour a day without power during their summer holidays, not bad for a nation of lazy children.
