O2 were at Twickenham for the Six Nations!

The rugby
has been the main focus for much of the nation over the past few weeks and O2
have been in the thick of it!
The O2
Blueroom was one of the highlights at Twickenham. O2 customers were able to text a number which allowed them
and a friend entrance into the Blueroom. In there they would find screens showing the game,
face painting for all those avid fans, along with interactive games and of
course the Sledge team working hard to make it a success.
Crowds
gathered at the O2 Blueroom so much so that it ended up being one in, one out,
that’s surely a sign of a job well done!

With Altitude 360 as their backdrop OWNERGY, with the help of Sledge launched themselves into the public eye, as the first renewable energy company to offer simple and cost-effective end-to-end delivery of renewable energy systems through the new Government-backed Feed-In Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentive (that was a bit of a mouthful!)

But
seriously, by using Ownergy, customers can be assured not only will they reduce
their energy bills but get paid for the renewable energy they generate.
Guests
included politicians, industry experts and stakeholders alike. The response was positive and all the
guests seemed genuinely excited about what Ownergy were proposing, which was
great.
To bring to
life what Ownergy is trying to achieve they were able look out from the 29th
Floor (Altitude 360) and use some of London’s most famous landmarks as examples
of how renewable energy can be used, which proved for a great visual
presentation.
Electric Pedals provided the entertainment for the evening. A great way to show how man power can create energy.

In February Sledge created a technology-inspired
party for the winners of a digital competition called PUSH, part of the
campaign for the Nokia N900.
The N900 is the most powerful device Nokia has ever created, built with Maemo open source software, which means the device can be taken apart and rebuilt, capable of doing things no device has done before. So nothing could be more perfect than asking the most active and involved hackers and modders around the world to make their visions for the N900 a reality.
The top five inventions were selected and asked to showcase their talent at the PUSH Party, held at Village Underground in Shoreditch, London.
Nokia also commissioned a robotics designer and builder, to create a new installation for Nokia PUSH. Guests were able to text a specially built robot that triggered a reaction in the environment surrounding it. There were also some robotic pole dancers and a robotic DJ that caused a bit of a stir!!

Added to all of this were some of Sledges magic ingredients to make one cool party, the night was a great success!
We would just like to say a belated hello to our new recruits. We had some new starters at the beginning of the year. Charlie Trueman and Sarah Robb came on board as Account Executives for the teams. Whilst Rebecca Naughton has joined us as Account Manager working in our Consumer Team. We are pleased to say they have fitted into the Sledge mould well!
Its been a great week for Sledge!
We've made it into the top 10 of Marketing Magazine's experiential league table and been nominated for 5 Event Awards including agency of the year!
Keep on eye on the Sledge news to see how we do!
