Top trend predictions for 2023… With Sledge MD, Sarah Yeats
The latest print issue of M&IT Magazine is out, and our MD, Sarah Yeats has shared some of her insights within its pages.
On pages 34-35 Sarah reveals her top five trend predictions for the year ahead, which at a glance are:
- Personalisation will be key, and we will see a shift from format focused, to audience focused, meanwhile ‘hybrid’ will come to mean two completely separate events for two different audiences.
- Consumers’ penchant for film is growing, and as such we will see content increasingly leveraged to tell the story.
- More brands will look to invest in permanency as a means of continuing the conversation with audiences.
- Sustainability will shift from tactical, such as focusing on ways to reduce swag, to strategy-led, and form part of both company and project processes as standard.
- While she is a firm believer in an audience first approach, as an advocate of the power of human connection, Sarah also anticipates that in-person events will continue to gain momentum.
