Sledge recognised at the Lens Awards 2023
As finalists in the Lens Awards 2023, members of the Sledge team attended a prestigious ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London recently, where winners across several categories were announced.
We were nominated for two awards for our work with the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) around their FACT Dialogue initiative and received a:
- Bronze - Best Use of Video as part of an Integrated Campaign
- Highly Commended - Best Use of Video from a Charity/NGO/Non-Profit
Here our team produced and managed a live broadcast that focused on BEIS’s newly launched FACT Dialogue. It was designed to raise global awareness of both the initiative and agricultural deforestation in the lead up to COP26.
We also produced a VIP plenary session at COP26,which BEIS and FACT Dialogue hosted as part of Nature Day, and aimed to generate further support for the Dialogue.
The awards are a celebration of film and visual communications in the corporate arena, and are designed to recognise those who effectively communicate emotion, deliver clarity and engage audiences through film.
Our work was judged by experts from across the creative industries, and we’re therefore thrilled to have been recognised. Furthermore, it was great to connect with our fellow filmmakers, creatives and marketers on the night.
