Sledge MD delivers session at Event Sustainability Live

Sledge MD, Sarah Yeats led a session on the topic of 'How employee ownership can enhance event companies' sustainability vision' at the inaugural Event Sustainability Live.

Taking place from 15th – 16th November at ExCeL London, the conference and exhibition featured a range of environmental focused sessions, roundtables and suppliers.

• Delved into what prompted Sledge to shift to an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) model, which was namely to become a more sustainable business, and a recognition of the fact that bringing employees on this journey is vital.
• Outlined the steps Sledge took to ensure a smooth transition to an EOT, so that attendees could gain insight into ways to make the change within their own organisations.
• Reflected on how she and all employees have embedded the EOT throughout the agency over the last 12 months.
• Shared how becoming employee owned has benefited Sledge’s people, the planet, and the agency’s wider operations.
