Sledge named a Best Green Business

Sledge MD, Sarah Yeats has been recognised at the 2025 Best Businesswomen Awards, which, now in their 11th year, celebrate the achievements of female-led businesses and charities across a diverse range of industries.

Selected by an expert panel of judges from hundreds of entries, Sarah received a Silver in the Best Green Business category, which recognises female entrepreneurs running businesses that are environmentally sustainable.

From becoming an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) and leading the development of our Sustainability Management System (SMS), to ensuring our people have the tools and resources to embed sustainable best practices throughout our agency and projects, Sarah has played a vital role in Sledge's green transition.

At the same time, she is the first to recognise that as a close-knit team with a shared vision and values, we’ve all played a part here, and reflecting on the achievement, says: "I don’t see it as an award just for me: this is one for all our people.

"It’s a testament to their passion for purpose-driven work, commitment to educating our clients to reduce their impact, and dedication to ongoing learning and improvement."
